4th of July Mom Hacks: To-Go Bags for Kids

4th of July Mom Hacks: To-Go Bags for Kids
There's usually a lot of down time while you wait for the fireworks or the parade to start. These next few tips are focused on how to keep the kids entertained during that slow stretch ⏱. To kick things off, I usually make some kind of to-go bag for each kid. It's not fancy, just a goodie bag of stuff from the dollar store designed to help pass the time. They also double as a handy personal garbage sack for each kid. 👏 Ours usually include some treats, some glow, a flag to wave, and some kind of busy-maker (like play doh or uno cards). I bring a few family snacks and games too but these little packets make life on the blanket a lot more entertaining. 👉🏻And if you want to get even more festive, you can add a cute printable bag topper like the free one from @eighteen25girls. I love their stuff.
