⚠️ this is what the counter of a party planner looks like on a regular basis - and this is just from making the video tutorials - just wait until I'm actually in my creative zone.
Before I head into all the tips for planning this crazy Halloween party I thought it would be good to explain why I do it. I don't do it because I have loads of free time, crave extra stress, have piles of money to spend, or desperately want to prove myself in some way. I do it because good friends bless my family...and good friends come from cool shared experiences.
We've moved so many times and I know exactly how hard it is to feel isolated and unseen. I don't have time to wait until I have the right calling or happen to pick the right street to live on. There are good, fun people everywhere and I want to know them. Sooo, I host fun parties that get everyone together and help them let their guard down for a few hours...and learn a lot about me and my family in the process. So many of my friendships were started or built by inviting people to these parties. Those friends stick with me no matter where we move or what crazy-hard trial we are facing. #cancer

Additionally, I love helping other people connect with each other. I love forming teams knowing that these couples will have memories to laugh about with each other for years. They might not become best friends but they will have common memories that tie them together.
So I guess I host these for the same reason we hold girls camp, trek, school field trips, and service projects...I'm trying to create memories that last. Memories that cheer me up when life is hard and memories that tie strangers together.

So bring on the messy house, late nights and the countless trips to the dollar store. The rewards are well worth it! #wwar#wandawitch #halloweenparty #bethefunmom
