Road Trip Hacks: How to pack for unexpected stops

Road Trip Hacks: How to pack for unexpected stops

It's hard to find a filter that makes a hotel parking lot look better. Sorry looks like your feed is stuck with this ugly version. Late last night we stopped over in a tiny town to sleep for the night 🌙.

We were too tired to bring in all the bags so this morning I walked back to car for supplies. The kids' clothes are rolled into outfits (see previous post) so I just grabbed one roll for each kid and tossed them into a pop-up hamper. These cheap, dollar-store hampers fold up to the size of my hand so I keep a few stashed under the front seat. I keep all the toothbrushes and toiletries together so I added those ziploc bags to the hamper too and then carried the whole thing into the hotel.

Once the kids were ready, we tossed all the dirty clothes and gear back in the hamper and carried it back to the car. Handy, right? It's a fast and easy trick to make unexpected stops so much easier.
