My favorite tool to keep track of keys
Back to School Tip #7: This isn't really a back to school post but it seems a shame to talk all about my mini mudroom without mentioning this little piece.
When I made the homework desk pegboard, I had a few feet of excess board. I hated to waste it so I added a skinny segment on this wall between the garage door and the half bath. When I come in from the garage, this is my place to stash keys, sunglasses and my purse.
I love it because the hooks are adjustable so I can easily make room when I change purses or need spots for new things - like student ID lanyards. I also added a few permanent hooks (another IKEA find) for my heavier bags and the cute white key hook I found at Target (swipe to see it closer).
The little white box was from the office section. I drilled two holes in the top of the back so I could hang it and have a way to throw keys when my hands are too full of groceries to use hooks. 👍🏻Not bad for a free piece of scrap pegboard, right? #mudroom #organization #backtoschool
