Kitchen Hacks: Speedy tool for draining watermelon
If you don't have one of these handy little kitchen gadgets it's time to fork over the $5 and grab one. It strains small pots of pasta/mac 'n cheese like a dream but it's also the perfect tool to get the excess juice out of leftover 4th of July watermelon. Plus, it takes almost no space in my dishwasher - unlike normal bowl strainers which are a gigantic waste of dishwasher real estate. I bought mine at TJ Maxx but you can find them all over Amazon and most kitchen sections of box stores. It's a lazy-mom must have!
