BBQ Hacks: Simple Tip for Checking Propane Levels

BBQ Hacks: Simple Tip for Checking Propane Levels

Last but not least in my BBQ series, I wanted to share this simple tip for checking your propane level.

If you’re worried about running low, just pour a few cups of hot tap water down the side of the tank and press your hand along the wet side. The top of the tank will feel hot to the touch but the area with propane will stay relatively cool. As long as you have a few inches of gas in the tank, you should have enough to keep the party rolling.
